Statement of Purpose is to promote a public awareness of the need for long term care planning. As a member of the Council, A-1 Caregiver Agency is dedicated in getting involved and implementing the promotion of long term care.

Shield Accreditation is a benchmark for non-medical senior home care. Senior home care companies that are Shield Accredited are 'doing it right' and are the leaders in our industry. Shield Accreditation's mission is to recognize and promote quality senior home care agencies that abide by the standards and guidelines established for a non-medical home care agency. A-1 Home Care & A-1 Caregiver Agency proudly adheres to these standards, including: Providing proof of professional or general liability insurance, worker's compensation, a dishonesty bond and a business license where required. Additionally, attention is called to other proactive measures, such as back ground checks, automobile insurance and training practices.
